Vanilla Rose Berry Cake Ingredients (1 kg): For the Vanilla Sponge: • All-purpose flour – 200g • Baking powder – 1½ tsp • Baking soda – ½ tsp • Salt – a pinch • Unsalted butter – 100g • Granulated sugar – 200g • Eggs – 3 large (or substitute with yogurt for eggless) • Milk – 120ml • Vanilla extract – 2 tsp For the Rose Syrup (to soak the cake): • Rose water – 2 tbsp • Sugar – 2 tbsp • Water – 3 tbsp For the Frosting: • Whipping cream or buttercream – 300g • Icing sugar – 100g • Rose essence – ½ tsp (or a few drops; very strong) • Pink food color – optional For the Berry Layer Topping: • Fresh strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries – 150g (for filling and decoration) • Strawberry or mixed berry compote – 3 tbsp (optional)
